Pulley Free Trial - Detailed Instructions
Thank you for your interest in Pulley! We're excited to offer you the opportunity to explore our platform based on your actual cap table data. This document explains our fast migration process and provides instructions for getting started.
About your Pulley trial account
We will create a live Pulley account using your exported Carta data. This allows you to see how your cap table will look and function in Pulley before making a commitment.
Important Notes
Automated Preliminary Setup: Your account is created through an automated process using the data from your Excel exports. This setup has not been manually reviewed by our team. It's designed to give you a realistic preview of how your cap table would look in Pulley, allowing for quick setup and exploration. Typically, you'll see 95-100% of your cap table data accurately reflected.
Note that at this stage, only the information from your exports is included – additional documents and files are not yet transferred.Expert Review and White Glove Onboarding: If you decide to move forward with Pulley, our expert onboarding team will conduct a thorough review of your cap table. We'll verify all details, address any discrepancies, and optimize the structure to suit your specific needs.
During this phase, we'll also assist in migrating additional materials such as:Equity grant documents
Stock certificates
Board consents and resolutions
Investor agreements
Historical valuations
Other relevant corporate records
Our goal is to ensure the highest level of accuracy and completeness, setting you up for efficient, strategic equity management.
Data Privacy: We treat your data with the utmost confidentiality. The trial account is only accessible to you and the Pulley team members assisting with your evaluation. All information shared during both the preliminary setup and full migration is protected by our strict privacy and security measures.
How to Get Started
To create your trial account, we need you to export two specific reports from your Carta account:
Cap Table Report
In Carta, go to: Cap Table (Left tab) -> Run reports -> All Reports -> Cap Table (under Capitalization)
Select the checkboxes for Summary, Intermediate, Detailed, and Securities ledgers by type and class
Export the report
Vesting Details Report
In Carta, go to: Cap Table (Left tab) -> Run reports -> All Reports
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Under "Vesting", select "Vesting Details"
Export the report
Once you have these two Excel files, please send them to your Pulley representative. We'll use these to create your trial account and provide you with access.
What to Expect
After receiving your exports, we'll create your trial account within 1-2 business days.
You'll receive an email invitation to access your trial Pulley account.
Explore the platform, test features, and get a feel for how Pulley can work for your company.
Your Pulley representative is available to answer questions and provide a guided tour of the platform.
Next Steps
If you decide to move forward with Pulley:
We'll set up your official Pulley account.
Our onboarding team will conduct a thorough review of your cap table.
We'll migrate additional data such as stakeholder information, documents, and historical 409A valuations.
You'll have the opportunity to recreate your data room structure in Pulley.
