Wallet Statuses:

Pulley uses several statuses to reflect the verification state of a wallet:

Expired: This status indicates that a wallet's verification has expired. The stakeholder needs to re-verify their wallet ownership.

Manually Verified: The stakeholder has acknowledged ownership of the wallet by reviewing the address and confirming it through Pulley.

Securely Verified: This is the most robust verification method. It indicates that the stakeholder has connected to their wallet via a browser extension like MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet through Pulley. This direct connection provides a high level of assurance regarding wallet ownership.

Not Verified: The wallet has not been verified through any method.

Sending Verification Reminders (Admin):

Admins can easily remind stakeholders to verify their wallets, especially those whose verification has expired.

  1. Navigate to the Wallets Page: Access the "Wallets" table page.

  2. Click "Send Reminder": Click the "Send Reminder" button located above the table.

  3. Filter by Status (Optional): Choose specific statuses to target reminders to specific groups of stakeholders (e.g., "Expired", "Not Verified").

  4. Send Requests: Click "Send Requests" to send verification reminders to the selected stakeholders.

  5. Set a verification schedule: Admins can also set verification schedules by going to the company’s setting under Wallet Security. Setting a recurring verification schedule makes sure that token holders are reminded of re-verifying their wallets on a periodic basis.

Verifying a Wallet (Stakeholder):

Stakeholders can verify their wallets in two ways:

A. Secure Verification (Recommended):

  1. Access Tasks: Navigate to your "Tasks" page. You should see a task prompting you to verify your wallet.

  2. Locate Verification Table: Find the "Verifications" table on your "Tasks" page.

  3. Click “Verify” or "Reverify": Click the verification button next to the relevant wallet.

  4. Navigate to one of your wallets or to a token grant linked to a wallet: Alternatively, you can verify a wallet directly from your token holder account or by navigating to a token holding with a connected wallet. A green checkmark indicates a securely verified wallet, while a gray checkmark indicates a manually verified wallet.

  5. Connect Wallet: Choose "Connect Wallet" in the modal and follow the instructions to connect your wallet through a supported browser extension.

  6. Add a wallet (optional): Note that you may also add a wallet directly from the token holding screen.

  7. Manage wallets from token holder dashboard: Note that you can also see the status of all your wallets, verify and re-verify them from the token holder dashboard.

B. Manual Verification:

If Secure Verification is not possible, stakeholders can manually verify their wallets:

  1. Select “Verify Manually”

  2. Acknowledge Ownership: After making sure the address displayed matches your wallet’s address in the "Complete Verification" modal, check the box confirming wallet ownership.

  3. Click Confirm: Click the "Confirm" button. This will set the wallet's status to "Manually Verified".

This completes the process of verifying wallet ownership. Keep your wallet verification up-to-date for seamless token distributions. Contact Pulley Support if you have any further questions.
