How do I record an option grant?

Record options that have already been signed on Pulley.

This article is relevant to you if:

  • You want to record options that have already be signed off Pulley.

  1. Hit + New → Existing Contract.
    ​

  2. Select Options.
    ​

  3. Fill out the details using Single or Multiple mode → Save & Continue. The security will then appear as a draft in your Cap Table.

    1. Selecting Multiple gives you the opportunity to download an excel template for mass importing your option grants into Pulley:

Some things to make sure of when you are filling in those details:

  • Quantity;

  • Exercise price;

If relevant, add in the following also:

  • Vesting;

  • Acceleration;

  • Legends.

    ℹ️ Tip: If you have the share agreements, you can upload your options on Pulley in seconds via our PDF scanner. Be aware that it is still in beta.

4. After reviewing, hit Add to Cap Table.
