Pulley's Spreadsheet Mode allows you to efficiently add and edit securities in bulk rather than individually.

Accessing Spreadsheet Mode

There are several ways to access Spreadsheet Mode in Pulley:

  1. From the Cap Table: Select the green Actions button and select Edit

  2. When Adding Securities: When adding new securities (like SAFEs, options, etc.), you can switch "Upload by" from Form to Spreadsheet

  3. For Stakeholders: Go Stakeholders, then select "Actions β†’ Edit Stakeholders" to open spreadsheet mode for editing stakeholder information

Using Spreadsheet Mode

Once in Spreadsheet Mode, you can:

  1. Add New Securities: Enter details for multiple securities at once in a table format

  2. Edit Existing Securities: Make changes to multiple securities simultaneously

  3. Copy and Paste: If you have a list of stakeholders from another source, you can copy and paste them into spreadsheet mode rather than entering them one by one manually

  4. Delete Securities: You can delete securities directly from spreadsheet mode

Important Tips and Limitations

  1. Save Your Changes: After making edits in spreadsheet mode, remember to click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the form

  2. Certificate IDs: When editing Certificate IDs, note that they must be unique. If you're unable to save a particular ID, it likely means it already exists on the cap table

  3. Price Per Unit/Share: When editing securities like units in spreadsheet mode, inputting the price per unit will automatically update the capital contribution field after pressing enter on that column

  4. Custom Fields: Spreadsheet mode supports various fields depending on the security type being edited
