How do I stop vesting?

Learn how to stop vesting in Pulley.

This article is relevant to you if:

  • You want to 'stop vesting' in Pulley due to a termination.

Method 1: Via the stakeholders' page.

  1. Go to Stakeholders in the left navigation.

  2. At this point, you can either:

    1. Terminate a single stakeholder

      1. Click on the stakeholder you want to terminate.

      2. Click Actions (top right) --> Terminate Stakeholder

    2. Terminate multiple stakeholders

      1. Click Actions (top right) --> Terminate Stakeholders

Method 2: Via the security itself.

  1. Go to Cap Table in the left navigation.

  2. Navigate to the security owned by the relevant terminated stakeholder.

  3. Go to Actions (top right) --> Stop Vesting via Termination.

Note: Following this method will stop vesting for all securities owned by the terminated stakeholder.

Both the above methods will (a) stop vesting and (b) mark the relevant stakeholder as terminated in Pulley.
