Generating reports in Pulley

How to access and download equity reports in Pulley.

This guide walks you through accessing and generating reports in Pulley, including standard reports, custom reports, and basic report troubleshooting.


Permissions

Most reports require Admin access, including:

  • Generating most reports

  • Accessing GO-SAFI and Award Summary report suites

  • Creating custom reports

  • Downloading full cap table exports

Read/Write Access may have limited report access. Contact your company admin to update permissions if needed. For more information, see our roles guide β†’


Accessing reports

  1. Navigate to Company in the main navigation

  2. Click on Reports

  3. You'll see a list of available standard reports and custom reports


Generating standard reports

Pulley offers a variety of pre-built reports covering cap table data, stakeholder information, vesting details, transactions, and more.

To generate a standard report:

  1. Go to Company > Reports

  2. Find the report you need from the list (see the Pulley Reports guide for a complete list)

  3. Click Generate Report next to the report name

  4. If prompted, select any parameters that are required (only applicable to certain reports)

  5. After inputting any necessary parameters the report file is downloaded in the available format (Excel, CSV, or PDF depending on the report)

Historical Reporting

Most reports support historical date selection, allowing you to view data as it existed at a specific point in time:

  • Use the date selector when generating the report

  • Uncheck "All Time" to specify a date or date range

  • Reports will reflect data as of that date

Common use cases:

  • Year-end tax reporting

  • Board meeting snapshots

  • Audit preparation

  • Quarterly reporting


Generating custom reports

Custom Reports are available on Growth and Custom plans, and can be downloaded simiarly to the default Pulley Reports. This feature allows you to create highly customized reports with specific data fields, filters, and groupings.

To generate a custom report:

  1. Navigate to Company > Reports > Custom Reports tab

  2. Find the custom report you wish to generate in the Custom Reports list

  3. Click the Download Excel button to generate and download the custom report


Troubleshooting

Can't find a specific report?

  • Check the Pulley Reports reference to see all available reports

  • Consider creating a custom report if you need specific data fields

  • Contact Pulley Support if you need help identifying the right report

A report doesn't have the data you need?

  • Try creating a custom report with the specific fields you need

  • Download the report and filter/manipulate in Excel

  • Contact Pulley Support for assistance

Don't have access to Custom Reports?

  • Custom Reports require a Growth or Custom plan

  • Contact your account manager to upgrade your plan

Report shows unexpected data?

  • Verify the date range or "As of" date selected

  • Check any filters applied

  • Contact Pulley Support if data appears incorrect
